I'm a software applications developer by profession. Mom to 2 wonderful boys, Austin and David and wife to Lumeng, I've been scrapping for 4 years now and still very much addicted to it.

My scrapping style is very linear. I like stripes, circles and patterns. I also love vibrant colors which are very eminent in my layouts. I used to scrap with multiple photos in 1 layout, but I've recently grown to love scrapping with 1 photo layouts and journaling more about the photo.

My favorite subjects are of course my kids. I rarely scrap about myself so I try to scrap pictures of my kids with me in it. Another favorite subject is my husband, who is now addicted to photography, which explains the great improvement on my photos.(I used to take pictures just using my camera cellphone)

I'm a SAHM. I retired in 2000 after slaving it out in the corporate world for 16 (very fruitful) years. I used to be a badminton freak, playing regularly at least 3 times a week. After discovering scrapbooking in 2005, I quickly traded my racket for a pair of scissors. I started out as a digiscrapper and am basically self-taught in Photoshop CS2. I'm mainly into paper scrapping now and trying to "create stories" as much as possible. I try to create layouts to capture everyday life so that when I grow old I'll have these stories to keep me occupied.

I've always been interested in photography but just recently decided to pursue it seriously when my hubby suddenly came home with a Canon DSLR. This July 2007, I took a Basic Photography Workshop under the Federation of Philippine Photographers Foundation.

I'd like to categorize my style as Clean and Simple, but I like to try out new techniques such as cutting, embossing, stamping.

Techniques I'd like to learn include: stamping, distressing, layering. Oh, and definitely, I/'m going back to playing badminton in 2008.

I'm the "Queen" of the household where "Artists at Heart" live, namely my son, Ethan (who thinks he's also a photographer and an architect in the making, and my husband, Jeff who's the "real, professional photographer and digital artist". I wanted to be a photographer too but I figured out I'm a better scrapbooker ; )

Looking back at my layouts, I noticed how I love the sunny colors of yellow and orange which gives me an idea why Ethan loves the same colors. Actually, I love colors that are playful, bright and bold! This probably gives you an idea that I'm a very jolly and fun loving person!

I started scrapbooking in April 2003 after a trip to Disney World and have been hooked eversince. I've been married to my very supportive husband for 8 1/2 years and we have 3 beautiful kids who are my main subjects Luis (7), Nadya (5) and Bianca (2).

Aside from scrapbooking, I also do some cake decorating and have taken an interest in photography. I am also a freelance writer for a local parenting magazine.
