New Hat283 views(sent thru email Feb.28, 2008)

Materials: Webster's PPs and rub-ons, American Craft thickers, Color Box ink, Holographic embossing glitter, Uniball Signo white pen

Procedure: I cute the design of the patterned paper and layered it over another patterned paper. Cut a mat for the picture using the reverse of the PP. Cut one of the rub-on frames to make them phototcorners for the frame. Trim the paper to follow shape of rub-on. Adhered photo to mat and then to paper. Adhered a few more rub-ons randomly. Made a path of the butterfly using Uniball whaite pen. Inked the American craft alphabet stickers to match PP and then embossed with the holographic powder. Adhered title and handwrote journalling with the white pen.

Journalling: Now you're ready to go outside and play. Your new hat will keep the sun away from your light skin.

Laughters and Giggles286 viewsHidden Journaling:

You sure did enjoy your first time being a flower girl.
The whole time you were with the other girls, all we heard were your giggles and laughters.

You sure was the most adorable as you waved your hands at the guests while walking down the aisle.
And you were still the crowd's favorite even when you turned grumpy and won't even sit beside the couple and give them a smile.

Christmas Lunch288 viewsA very quickie LO (I did this just this morning - 28 feb). Journal reads, "It's tradition in the family to serve more than the usual for lunch during Christmas Day. For this year, I cooked spaghetti with two sauces and macaroni-fruit salad, while sister cooked bangus kare-kare. It's sad that daddy's no longer around to celebrate with us, but it's okay, I know in due time, we well be able to adjust 122507" Materials Used: Webster's Pages patterned papers and stickers, crocheted lace and foam tapes. janujennifer

Holiday Memories278 viewsPapers Used: Winter Wonderland Line - Twinkle (Front) and Mistletoe Kisses
Rub-On: Ting-A-Ling
Other materials: Autumn Leaves RF Flourish Clear Stamp, Ranger Glossy Accent, Zig Embossing Pen, Clear Embossing Powder, Junkitz oval journaling tag.
What I did: I handcut the ornament and some branches from the Twinkle paper. I covered the ornament with a glossy accent to give it a shiny finish and epoxy like texture. I outlined the branches with Zig embossing pen and applied clear embossing powder to make the color of the branches' veins come out. The branches were layered over the other with foam adhesive. I framed the picture with red cardstock. I covered the red frame with gold stamped flourishes and again applied clear embossing powder. I cut the rub-on frame in half to transform it into a pair of brackets for my rub-on title of "Holiday Memories" I handwrote the journaling on the oval tag and inserted it behind my title.
Journaling: Nothing gives me greater joy than to see the love you have for one another. As you both grow older, do not forget the bond that you share and always remember that you have each other to turn to. Xmas 2007
